Objectives

The goal is to provide an environment in which students can view, from a variety of angles, a regular dodecahedron.
To visualize the structure of this regular dodecahedron may be somewhat difficult at first because it looks identical from any angle. Observe how the 12 faces comprised of congruent regular pentagons with equal polyhedral angles fit so precisely as viewed from different angles. Observing the creation of a regular dodecahedron will help students fully understand this complex shape. Please refer to the animation.
