Suggested Experiments

  1. Change the size of the smaller triangle by dragging vertex D or E. Does this change cause any ratio (ratio of the sides) to change? Can you find any ratios that are still equal? Is this called the proportion?

  2. Change the shape of the larger triangle first. Then, repeat the above experiment.
